Daily Schedule

Practice, Lessons, Coaching, Special Events

Students practice in their private rooms with a ten-minute break each hour. For students under 18, assistance is available from practice monitors.

Private lessons are scheduled in the morning and afternoon.

Concerts, chamber music coaching, chamber music rehearsals, studio classes,  rehearsals with accompanists, master classes and special events are scheduled in the afternoons and evenings. Off-campus recreational activities are offered afternoons and weekends. Thus, each student's individual weekly schedule is unique.

Master classes are open to all students regardless of instrument studied. Practice Saturday afternoon and Sunday is optional.

Recreation, Trips, Church
Weekly town trips are available with special trips planned for the weekend. Tennis, badminton and basketball courts are on campus in addition to a soccer field. A number of indoor games are available along with cable TV and internet access in the Main House. Weekly yoga and massage are available at an additional charge. Transportation is provided every Sunday for Catholic and Protestant services beginning after the first week of school. Optional off-campus trips include weekly hiking, a trip to Lake Placid, a visit to the Lake George Water Park and a ferry ride to Burlington, Vermont.
