APPLICATION TIMETABLE
January 31*: Application Deadline.
Applications must include the following:
Two (2) copies of your application.
Two (2) unedited DVDs.
Incomplete applications will be returned.
Audition Materials
Meadowmount prefers 2 DVDs with the required chamber music excerpts recorded first or separately, followed by 15 minutes of solo works. The unedited audition should include music representing your level of advancement. It is suggested but not required that you play a fast movement of a standard concerto with or without accompaniment, and a contrasting piece such as a movement of Bach. The following mandatory Chamber Music Excerpts must be recorded first on your audition DVD (or separately from the solo works).

Scholarship Applicants / Letter of Request
Applicants requesting a scholarship must include a Letter of Request stating musical accomplishments, reasons for requesting a scholarship, annual household income and amount requested. Priority is given to applicants showing highest merit on the audition DVD. Financial need is a secondary consideration. See the Fees and Scholarships page for more information.
Application Fee
Include the non-refundable application fee: US$100 for American and international students payable in US funds only. Admitted international students may be charged additional fees due to communication and postage costs.

March 20: Admission Notification Letters Sent
Call the admissions office if you have not received your letter by March 25. International students are first notified by e-mail, followed by airmail letter notification.
April 1: US$900 Tuition Reservation Deposit, Signed Pledge and Passport Size Photograph Due
Deposits must be received in the Admissions Office (not postmarked) by this date.
Arrival of the deposit after the April 1 deadline may result in the loss of your reservation and placement on the wait list. We recommend sending reservation deposits by U.S. Postal Service Express Mail, Priority Mail, certified Mail with tracking or private courier (such as UPS or FedEx). There is not overnight delivery to our area, so please allow two days for Express Mail. Lost or misdirected mail may jeopardize your reservation. Include the signed pledge and a passport size photograph for identification purposes.
In case of cancellation before April 15, US$450 of the deposit will be refunded. After April 15, no refund is given.
May 15: Balance of Account and Medical Forms Due
Balance of account must be paid in full.
Arrival of the final tuition payment after the May 15 deadline may result in loss of your reservation and placement on the wait list, as well as the US$50 late fee.
Health forms for ALL students MUST include immunization history. Incomplete medical forms will be returned and assessed a US$50 processing fee.
Students withdrawing for any reason after May 15 will not receive a refund of tuition/room & board.
Off-campus students must notify us of their off-campus address.
Personal checks, money orders and travelers checks in US funds drawn on a US bank on US soil are accepted. Checks must have routing numbers on the bottom of the check. We regret we are unable to accommodate credit card payment or extended payment schedules.
