2010 Application Information and Form
for Summer Session June 26 to August 14, 2010
Instructions: First, read all the information below. Then click on the link at the bottom of the page to download the form in PDF format. Print out the application form, then fill it out and mail it to the address given below.

January 31st *: Application Deadline - Applications must include the following:

Audition CD
The unedited Audition CD should be at least 15 minutes of music representing your level of advancement. It is suggested but not required that you play a fast movement of a standard concerto with or without accompaniment, and a contrasting piece such as a movement of Bach. The following mandatory Chamber Music Excerpts must be recorded first on the audition CD.

Scholarship Applicants
Those requesting a scholarship must include a Letter Of Request stating your musical accomplishments, your reasons for requesting a scholarship, annual household income and amount requested. Priority is given to those showing highest merit as demonstrated on the Audition CD. Financial need is used only as a secondary consideration. See the Fees and Scholarships page for more information.
Application Fee
Include the Non-refundable US$75.00 Application Fee payable in US funds only. Admitted international students will be charged additional fees due to communication/postage costs for international paperwork.
* Applications may still be accepted after January 31st if we are not full.
Week of March 10th: Admission Notification Letters Sent
Call the Admissions Office if you have not received your letter by March 18th. International students are first notified by e-mail, followed by airmail letter notification.
April 1st: Reservation Deposit, Signed Pledge and Passport Size Photograph Due
US$600 Tuition Reservation Deposit Due
Deposits must be received (not postmarked) in the Admissions Office by this date. Arrival of the deposit after the April 1st deadline may result in the loss of your reservation and placement on the wait list. We do not recommend using first class USPS. We recommend sending reservation deposits by U.S. Postal Service Express Mail or private courier only. Include the signed pledge and passport size photograph for identification purposes.
In case of cancellation before April 15th, USA$300 of the deposit will be refunded. After April 15th, no refund is given.
Students withdrawing for any reason once the session is in progress will only receive a refund of tuition/room & board if a replacement student can be admitted.
May 15th: Balance of Account and Medical Forms Due
Balance of account must be paid in full.
Arrival of the final tuition payment after the May 15th deadline may result in loss of your reservation and placement on the wait list and is subject to a $50.00 late fee.
Health forms for ALL students MUST include immunization history and a small recent photograph for identification purposes. Incomplete Medical Forms will be returned.
Off-campus students must notify us of their off-campus location.
Personal checks, money orders and travelers checks in US funds drawn on a US bank on US soil are accepted. Checks must have routing numbers on the bottom of the check. We regret we are unable to accommodate credit card payment or extended payment schedules.
