James Ehnes, violin, 2008 Grammy Award Winner for Best Instrumental soloist performance of Barber/Korngold/Walton: Violin Concertos (CBC Records), recipient of the 2002 Cannes Classical Award for Young Artist of the Year and winner of the 2002 JUNO for Best Classical Album for his recording of Bruch's Concertos nos. 1 and 3 with l'Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal with Charles Dutoit (CBC Records).

Matthew Allen, 16, Cello 2008 Grand Prizewinner of the Stulberg International string Competition in Kalamazoo, MI.

Marta Vieira, cello, 18, 2008 Overall winner of the Walgreens Concerto Competition.

Frantisek Soucek, violin, the Banff 2007 International String Quartet Competition awarded 2nd Prize to the Zemlinsky Quartet of which Frantisek is first violin.

Jing Wang, violin, is the 2007 First Prize winner of the 22nd Annual Irving M. Klein International String Competition. He has won First Prize at the 2000 International Competition "Concertino Prague" in Prague and was nominated "Le Titre de Jeune solist" of all French Radio in 2002. He is First Prize winner of the 1997 Canadian Music Competitions and the Montreal symphony Orchestra Competition in 1998.

Beloslava Hristova, violin, managed by Stanton Consulting, is the winner of the 2007 Michael Hill International Violin Competition. She also won 6th prize in the International Violin Competition of Indianapolis 2006, was the grand prize winner at the 2001 International Kocian Competition and appeared at the Tanglewood Music Festival as soloist with Garrison Keillor in 2002.

Petra Vilankova, violin, was awarded first prize at the National ASTA Competition for 2007 and second prizewinner of the senior division of the 2006 Michigan ASTA Solo Competition.

Gabriel Cabezas, 15, cello, in 2007 released his first compact disc entitled "Moyugba Orisha" featuring a world premiere piece of the same title. He is Bronze Medal Winner of the Junior Division of the 2005 Fischoff Chamber Music National Competition and overall performance winner of the Midwest Young Artists Junior Division of the 2004 Walgreens National Competition.

Slava Kiselev, Piano, second prizewinner Eastman Young Artists International Piano Competition 2007.

Anne Burden, cello, won the 2006 Solo Competition at the Juilliard School and performed Prokofiev's Symphonie Concertante with the Juilliard Orchestra at Alice Tully Hall in New York City.

Barbora Kolarova, violin, is the top prizewinner in the junior division of the 2006 Michigan ASTA Solo Competition.

Ruben Palma, cello, 1st place winner of the 2006 NY American String Teachers Solo Competition and named a semi-finalist in the 2006 Sphinx Competition.

Rachel Harding, violin, preliminary participant in the International Violin Competition of Indianapolis 2006.

Saeke Matsayama, violin, preliminary participant in the International Violin Competition of Indianapolis 2006.

Robin Scott, violin, second prize winner in the Yehudi Menuhin International Competition 2006.

Drew Petersen, 13, Piano, 2006 recipient of the Davidson Fellows Scholarship from the Davidson Institute for Talent Development.

Chen Jiafeng won second prize at the 2005 Sibelius Competition.

Jessica Constant, Neena Deb-Sen, Elly Suh, Felicia Tan, and Ken Schwartz received 2nd prize at the Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition in South Bend Indianna in 2004.

JiaJing Wang and Jiafeng Chen shared 3rd prize in the 4th International Competition for Young Violinists in Novosibirsk, Russia in 2004.

Eldbjorg Hemsing, violin, won First Prize in the Sparre Olsen Competition in 1999, First Prize in the 2000 Norwegian Youth String Competition and First Prize in the Norwegian Youth String Competition and the Sparre Olsen Competition in 2000 and second prize in the 2001 Kocian International Violin Competition. She was recently soloist with the Bergen, Trondheim and Kiev Symphony Orchestras.

Ragnhild Hemsing, violin, won First Prize in the Sparre Olsen Competition in 1999, First Prize in the 2000 Norwegian Youth String Competition and First Prize in the Norwegian Youth String Competition, December, 2000 and the First Prize in the 2001 International Kocian Competition. She was recently soloist with the Oslo Philharmonic and the Bergen and Kiev Symphony Orchestras.

Elizabeth Chung, cello, received first prize at 2001 Walgreens Concerto Competition, guest division and second place winner in the 2002 Chicago Symphony Young Artist Competition. In 2006 she won the Concerto Competition at Aspen Music Festival Performing the Dvorak Concerto.

Deanna Talens, cello, 1999 and 2000 Walgreens Concerto Competition winner and was awarded the Daniel Shafran Special Prize of Promise at the 2002 International Tchaikovsky Competition.

Min Lee, violin, an IMG artist, recently recorded on the Universal Record Label with the Royal Philharmonic with Conductor, Thomas Sanderling

Eunice Keem, violin, semi-finalist in the International Violin Competition of Indianapolis 2006, received first prize in the Jr. Division of the 2002 National ASTA Competition and first prize at the Johansen International Competition in Washington, D.C. As violinist in the Orion Piano Trio, she won first prize in the Jr. Division of the 2002 Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition.

Julie Yoon, as violinist in the Chiara Quartet, won the Senior String Gold Medal at the Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition in 2002.

Patricia Sunwoo, violin, first prize winner at the Canadian Music Competition and winner of the 1998 Walter Naumburg Award. She records on the label CP2 and Arabesque Recordings.

Clancy Newman, cello, won the first prize at the Walter Naumburg Competition in 2001 and is managed by Astral Artistic Services.

Dmitri Vorobiev, piano, was awarded the grand prize at the 2000 International Pretoria Competition in South Africa.

Tatsuya Nagashima, piano, appeared as soloist with the London Philharmonic, the Vienna Philharmonic, and the American Symphony Orchestra in Carnegie Hall. His concert engagements include appearances with the National Symphony of Taiwan, the Russian Federal Orchestra, and with the Berlin Sinfoniker.
