ADMISSIONS OFFICE

Greetings and welcome to the Admissions Office information page.

The Meadowmount School of Music website is full of information explaining everything from how the school began, to summer departure information and this may be overwhelming. The Admissions Office is here to answer your questions and guide you through the enrollment process from start to finish.

We stay in contact with each applicant via e-mail. Reminders and acknowledgments are sent out during each step of the application process to help you and ensure that information is received in a timely fashion.

Your questions and inquiries are always welcomed. E-mail is the best way to communicate due to the large number of applications we receive. If you have an urgent question or information need, then please call!

The following is a timeline of the admission process for a quick reference.

Meadowmount 2012 Calendar

January 31	Due - Application Packets: Application, 2 Audition DVDs, Fee, Scholarship Request Letter (if applying for scholarship). Late applications will be considered if space available.
March 20	Admissions Notification letter/packet mailed to applicants.
April 1	Due - Tuition Reservation Deposit, signed Pledge, small Photograph (passport size).
April 15	Cancellation deadline: last day to receive half of Tuition Reservation Deposit. After April 15, there is no refund of Tuition Reservation Deposit.
May 1	Rehair your bow “short” due to the high humidity at Meadowmount.
May 15	Due - Medical Forms, Balance of Tuition.
June 10	Student can begin shipping boxes to Meadowmount.
June 15	Due - Travel Itinerary with arrival dates and requests for transportation pick up from the ferry, bus or train stations.
June 23-24	Arrival of Students – check in between 9am to 6pm. Call us to schedule a later arrival time.
June 24	Orientation Meeting 7:30pm in the Concert Hall. All required to attend.
June 25	First day!
August 1	Due - Travel Itinerary for departures.
August 3-8	Processing of boxes to send home. Scheduled pick up August 13
August 10-11	Student Departures and the end of the 2012 season.
August 13	Scheduled shipment of packages home.
