Welcome to the Meadowmount School of Music

Celebrating 77 years of Training Students for Distinguished Careers in Music

Founded in 1944 by Ivan Galamian

SUMMER SESSION: June 26 to August 14, 2021

The Meadowmount School of Music is looking forward to opening during the summer of 2021. At this time, we are hopeful that the world situation in relationship to the COVID-19 pandemic will allow us all to move forward with gathering, travel, classroom instruction and in person concerts.

We will be monitoring State, Federal and local mandates that we must follow to have a program of study. This may include: in person, partial sessions and/or virtual programing. We will be defining our offering as we move closer to understanding what is allowable for the safety and wellbeing of our students, faculty and staff. Thank you for your understanding.

For over 77 years, Meadowmount’s supportive, structured environment has helped students achieve major careers as soloists, chamber musicians and orchestra players.

Our faculty of internationally renowned teachers and performers is dedicated to helping aspiring musicians develop technical skills, interpretive expertise and individual artistry at the highest level of excellence.

Join us this summer and discover your full potential.

"In an ever-changing world, the effort and discipline needed to develop the necessary tools for artistic expression remain constant. Meadowmount continues to instill these values in its students."
